We get a ton of questions at Precision Automotive Services.  In an effort to provide answers to our most frequently asked questions, we have created a FAQ page for your website.  If you do not see your answers here or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How often should I get my car serviced?

This depends on the car, your driving habits, and its age.  Regardless, if you want your car to last and to run safely and efficiently, you need to have it regularly serviced and that means at least twice a year.

For a used or older car – as long as it is running well, we recommend you bring it in seasonally—once each spring, then again late fall or early winter.

For a new car – newer vehicles typically have a scheduled maintenance plan.  We are an authorized factory maintenance facility for most makes and models.

Do I need to get the factory scheduled maintenance at the dealership?

No. You don’t have to go to a dealership.  Getting your required maintenance done at Precision Automotive Services fulfills the requirements of your warranty the same as getting it done at the dealership.  In addition to being factory authorized, we can typically get you back on the road faster than a dealership.

How much will it cost to repair my car or truck?

We understand that people are on a budget and we strive to offer our services at the most affordable rates possible.  We will diagnose your problem and provide options on repairing your vehicle in the most safest manner possible.

Do you take walk-ins or only appointments?

We definitely welcome walk-ins.  If you want more structure, sure set an appointment but we welcome all walk-ins and will work fast to get you in and out.
